Corroded battery cables cause more treble for you and it also make uses for more gas or fuel to start the car. So check your car cables and make sure that they are working well.

Do not make your car sit idle for more than one minute. Cause if you stuck in the traffic stop your car engine cause setting per hour ideally can cause more than wasting half to one gallon fuel and it will pump extra CO2 on air it will both save your car fuel and prevent air pollution.  

If you drive a old like your car is built in late or early 80’s you must do something to save fuel on car. You should change the spark plug, oxygen sensor of exhaust of system. Not only that you can also change the exhaust pipe and fuel pipe from that engine is taking the fuel. Also pout a new cooler for car engine it will save some fuel also.
